who would have guessed.

we all have a list in life that we want to complete better known as a bucket list. today i had the opportunity to come home and cross one off! never in a million years would i guess in preschool, that i could use an otoscope! i was able to look in one of the children's ears. probably the coolest thing i've ever seen. i often wonder why i didn't pursue becoming an ears nose and throat doctor because im facinated!! yes, i have an ear fetish. wax as disgusting as everyone thinks it is, i love looking at!!!

always an ending to every story.

just finished another week of head teaching at the preschool! couldn't have been happier to have it over- but never thought my day would end like this.....

I had so many things in my hand as I was walking down old main hill to the parking lot. two grocery sacks full of things I used, my lunch pale, school bag, phone, a book, and boots! I get to my car and start fishing for my keys which I knew were at the bottom of the school bag. I set everything down some things on top of my car and some things on the floor. I get everything in (or so i thought) and drive off to make it to Smiths Pharmacy before five. I had 10 minutes. As I go pulling out of the lot, down 4th North- I look out my window and there goes my book flying off. My mind began racing of other things I set on top but couldn't remember. I pulled off to the side just to see my book being ran over and pages flying. I thought to myself- I have to go save my book. So being very careful I stopped three different times coming down the hill and saved parts of the book! I got in my car and headed to the pharmacy. After picking up some medicine, I headed back up 4th to see what else might have dropped. Not only was I laughing but I was humiliated and I'm positive I made someones day!

big news....

BIG NEWS!!!

Dad is retiring from N.C.I.S. after 21 years of hard work. He will be finding himself in Idaho Falls where he will take on a whole new job November 16th. I couldn't have been a happier girl the day I found out. To only be less than a 3 hour drive to my family rather than an 8 hour plane ride is a blessing. I can't wait to be close to family again....

dreams can come true! I'm a firm believer.. =]

...more to come!

can't be forgotten.

this is embarrassing to even post considering its been close to a MONTH since it all took place. [but means too much to me to not blog about!] just know with 20 credits, work, and everything else that I am involved in...blogging doesn't come easy.

I had a great 22nd birthday and a fabulous 1st year anniversary. When we arrived in Park City... I was surprised by a fun cake, gifts, and a delicious dinner! I got some great gifts from the Hepworth's including a brand new ELECTRIC toothbrush. [i have been wanting one forever...], hair products and a spoon me gift card! Couldn't have been happier. I am so blessed to have such special people in my life.

On the 6th [September], Ryan and I celebrate our 1st anniversary. We all celebrated it together with a fancy dinner! I can't believe it as already been a year. Where does the time go? Before we know it, we will both be graduated and on with life we go!!!! I am so grateful to have found such an amazing man. He brings me such joy and a smile on face. I love the time that we get to spend with each other. This weekend was full of memories that won't be forgotten.

LOVED every minute of IT! thanks for making it all so special for me =]

another one down.

after 5 weeks of method classes everyday from 830-530, 1week of planning and setting up the classroom, and six weeks of teaching in a summer school program-- i'll have to be honest I feel like my summer has not yet come. but yesterday was a day of joy and sadness as I had completed my level III but had to say goodbye to all the kids I developed relationships with. one thing I didn't realize before is the bond you can gain with your students in such a short amount of time. [even the ones that never want to listen]. although it was only over a few weeks, we had so much fun and the program was successful as everyone increased testing scores.

thursday thrill: an activity earned on thursdays for good behavior.

this thursday thrill we had a bubble gum day and attempted to take a picture as the whole class blew the biggest bubble they could!!
